He said Zantel is proud to have launched the well-tailored news SMS in partnership with nation’s leading newspaper house The Guardian ltd.

Detailing on the new service, he said it will keep subscribers abreast with current affairs enjoying news updates at personal convenience and privacy.
“Our target is to provide our valuable customers with not only easier, but timely and reliable information from credible sources such as the Guardian and Nipashe newspapers,” he explained.

“We believe this innovation will undoubtedly enable both The Guardian and Nipashe news readers who are also Zantel subscribers to receive the latest news from our media house via their mobile phones.”

He encouraged readers to subscribe to the service through Zantel to enjoy this unprecedented access to a wide variety of local, international and sports news from the leading newspapers, The Guardian and Nipashe.

“We have decided to offer the product through both papers, so as to meet the diversification of Zantel subscribers who may be comfortable in either English or Swahili,” Maganga added.
